WHAT IS THE EDGE?
The EDGE is a weekly ministry for 7th and 8th graders that forms them in their Catholic faith. By separating the older from the younger middle schoolers, we are able to go deeper, have more interesting conversations, and cover more crucial topics in their life and faith. The goal of all of our youth ministries is to form lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. This means that for EDGE students we are going to focus on the issues that affect them the most, and how we can find Christ in the midst of a crazy life.
WHAT DOES THE EDGE LOOK LIKE?
Every weekly gathering will take place on Tuesday evenings from 7:15 pm to 8:30 pm, with the doors opening at 7:00 pm. We mix it up between Large Group sessions, with fun games and an inspirational talk, and Small Groups where every student can be known and heard. Dismissal to the carline will start at 8:20 pm.
REGISTRATION AND KICK-OFF
Like all of our formation programs for children and youth, registration will begin on July 12th at 9 o'clock in the morning. To keep it smooth, make sure your Church Center information is updated now by visiting ap.church/update and then register online beginning July 12th.
Kick-off will be in mid-September. We will also be hosting socials and events this Summer as we hire our new youth ministers and finish maintenance on the Youth Room.
