Youth Ministry Events

Youth ministry is much more than just Life Nights and snacks; it's about building a strong community where people can gather, connect, and grow in their faith. Our events offer opportunities through shared experiences and fellowship in and outside of church,  tengage in meaningful discussions, and participate in projects that deepen your relationship with one another and with God.

Archdiocesan Jr High Youth Rally

DATE: February 28 (10am-9pm)

LOCATION: St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church

COST: $50 per person (before 2/6)

The Archdiocesan Junior High Youth Rally is an annual day for younger adolescents (grades 6-8th) to gather together as a community to pray, share, learn and celebrate with the larger archdiocesan family their Catholic faith.

Throughout the day, youth and adults deepen their faith by participating in a wide variety of fun and faith-filled activities which focus on instructions of faith, community building, and a variety of hands-on service projects. Each year a new theme is selected which focuses on issues that affect the junior high youth.

Life Teen Spring Retreat

DATE: March 13-15

LOCATION: Camp Cho Yeh

COST: $250 per person

Mary is the exemplary model for a Christian life. Her many titles attest to the different ways her presence and example have inspired Christians across centuries and cultures. When we contemplate hope, it is fitting to look to Mary as a guide. This retreat aims to inspire teens to live with radiant hope in imitation of Mary.

All 9th-12th graders are invited to a weekend of fun, faith, and fellowship. The weekend will be full of exciting activties, some of which include: Adoration, zip-lining, smores by the campfire, praise and worship, games, and so much more.

Covecrest/Hidden Lake

June 1-6 - Tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia, Camps Covecrest and Hidden Lake are long-time favorite summer trips for the teens of St. Anthony of Padua! Once we arrive at camp, we get to play and pray with new friends from every corner of the country. The week of camp includes the perfect balance of time to encounter Christ and time to have fun. We  do everything from high and low ropes courses and whitewater rafting, to hearing dynamic talks, spending time sharing our experiences in small groups, and participating in the Sacraments. Every week, a line-up of dynamic presenters, talented musicians, and dedicated priests serve along with camp staff to encourage a deeper relationship with Christ for each teen.

Steubenville - Lone Star (Dallas)

June 19-21 - Each summer, Life Teen partners with the Steubenville Youth Conferences at Franciscan University with the hopes of strengthening and inspiring teens and youth groups in their collective journeys with Christ. Evangelistic in nature, these weekend conferences are both a great “introduction” to the Gospel message for new or younger teens, while offering deep and moving experiences of prayer and fellowship for your youth group regulars.

Give your teens the inspiration they need to renew not only your youth group but your entire parish community. Join us for a weekend of engaging liturgies, inspiring music, challenging talks and overwhelming joy.
