A Night Without a Home

Join us for a Night Without a Home, where we'll spend the night sleeping in cardboard boxes in St. Anthony's fenced in field to experience just a glimpse of what many face daily.

This powerful event invites us to walk in the shoes of the homeless and reflect on the call to serve.

The next morning, we will continue that mission by volunteering at the parish food pantry. Come with an open heart, a cardboard box, and be ready to make a difference.

Adult chaperones will need safe environment training to participate.
There will be a police presence for this event from 6pm to 6am.

Confirmation Service Project - Habitat for Humanity

As part of their journey toward the Sacrament of Confirmation, our Confirmation students will complete a required service project — and this year, that means partnering with Habitat for Humanity! Working together in small groups, teens will roll up their sleeves and put their faith into action, serving others through hands-on labor and building relationships along the way. 

This project is a meaningful opportunity for students to live out the call to love and serve their neighbor, deepening their understanding of what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world. This is a required event for all Confirmation candidates.

Living Stations Rehearsals

High school teens — this Lent, step into the story of Christ’s passion in a powerful way by joining our Living Stations of the Cross! Each year, our Life Teen group brings the Stations to life, offering the parish a moving, prayerful reflection on Jesus’ journey to the cross. 

This is a unique opportunity to use your gifts — whether acting or singing in the Stations Choir — to deepen your faith, serve our parish, and share the greatest story ever told. Practices begin soon and all high school teens are invited to participate.

Fish Fry - Youth Ministry Night

During Lent, St. Anthony hosts annual Lenten Fish Fries on Fridays from 5:00–7:00 PM, and this Friday is all about supporting Youth Ministry!

Join us as we dine together in support of our Youth Ministry programs, including summer camps, retreats, and more. Every proceed from this night's Fish Fry goes directly toward giving our teens life-changing faith experiences, so bring your family and friends and make a difference simply by enjoying a great meal.

Starting Friday, February 12 through March 19, enjoy fellowship and a delicious meal sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council. Dinner plates are $15 and include fried catfish filets, french fries, hush puppies, cole slaw, and tartar sauce, with desserts available for purchase.

Dine in at Sheltz Hall with iced tea and lemonade provided, or choose curbside take-out by entering at the St. Teresa of Calcutta Food Pantry parking lot and following the campus perimeter road behind Our Lady of the Angels Chapel. Please note the take-out car line closes at 6:30 PM.

Living Stations of the Cross

Join us this Lent as our High School teens bring the story of Christ’s passion to life in our Living Stations of the Cross. This annual event offers the parish a moving, prayerful reflection on Jesus’ journey to the cross.

Camp Covecrest & Hidden Lake

Tucked away in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia, Camps Covecrest and Hidden Lake have become long-time favorite summer experiences for the teens of St. Anthony of Padua! Each year, teens from across the country come together for an unforgettable week filled with adventure, friendship, prayer, and powerful encounters with Christ.

Camp offers the perfect balance of fun and faith. Throughout the week, teens participate in exciting outdoor activities like high and low ropes courses, whitewater rafting, team competitions, and more, while also making time for prayer, worship, the Sacraments, and meaningful small group discussions. Dynamic speakers, talented musicians, dedicated priests, and incredible camp staff work together to create an environment where teens can grow deeper in their faith and build lasting friendships rooted in Christ.

More than just a summer trip, Covecrest and Hidden Lake provide teens with an opportunity to step away from the distractions of everyday life, encounter God in a real and personal way, and return home renewed, encouraged, and inspired in their walk with Christ.

St. John The Baptist Mass & Bonfire

Youth Ministry is sponsoring a St. John the Baptist Bonfire!

The entire parish is invited to join us on Thursday, June 24, at 7:30 PM in the piazza following the 6:45 PM Mass for an evening of prayer, fellowship, and tradition as we celebrate the Nativity of St. John the Baptist.

• S’mores and drinks provided

• Blessing of the fire by one of our clergy members

• Open to all families

Take part in the beautiful tradition of lighting a bonfire on the Feast of St. John the Baptist. Celebrated just after the summer solstice—the longest day of the year—the feast reminds us of St. John’s humble words about Christ: “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30).

Families are also welcome to bring old blessed palms from Palm Sunday or broken sacramentals, such as rosaries, to be respectfully burned in the fire.

Life Teen High School Hangouts

High School Hangouts are a great way for teens to stay connected, grow in community, and have fun throughout the summer! 

Join us on Thursdays in July for games, snacks, conversation, and faith-centered activities designed to help high school teens build friendships and grow closer to Christ.

All incoming and current high school students are welcome!

Archdiocesan Youth Conference

The Archdiocesan Youth Conference 2027 (AYC) is the largest Catholic youth conference in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, bringing together thousands of high school teens from across the local Church for an unforgettable weekend of faith, worship, community, and encounter with Christ. Held at the Hilton Americas-Houston, AYC provides teens with an opportunity to step away from the noise of everyday life and experience the joy and beauty of the Catholic faith alongside their peers.

Throughout the weekend, teens will participate in dynamic keynote talks, inspiring worship music, engaging workshops, Eucharistic Adoration, Confession, and daily Mass. The conference is designed to help young people deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ while building authentic friendships and experiencing the diversity and energy of the Church in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.

AYC is more than just a conference. It is a powerful weekend of renewal, encouragement, and joy that challenges teens to live their faith boldly long after the event ends. Whether attending for the first time or returning with friends, teens leave inspired, spiritually refreshed, and reminded that they are not alone in their walk with Christ.

Edge Day Retreat

Calling all 6th-8th grade Edge students! Join us for a Day Retreat filled with fun, faith, and friendship. Throughout the day, students will experience time in Adoration, engage in Scripture and small group discussion, play games, and build community with fellow Edge students all while growing in their relationship with God. 

This retreat is a great opportunity for middle schoolers to step away from the noise of everyday life and encounter Jesus in a meaningful, memorable way. No experience necessary. Just come ready to pray, play, and grow!

Life Teen Inspiration

St. Anthony of Padua Life Teen is headed to Six Flags Fiesta Texas! Roller coasters. Funnel cake. A sound caught somewhere between a laugh and a scream. Today, the Road to Emmaus might look a little different, but the purpose is still the same — walking with you, wherever you're at. 

Inspiration is a day to hang out, have fun, and just be a teenager — all set against the backdrop of a powerful, Gospel-centered event. Whether you're all-in on your faith or still asking questions, this is a place where you can encounter Jesus in a real way, no pressure, no judgment. Come as you are — we can't wait to spend the day with you.

Confirmation Retreat

As part of their preparation to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, students will attend a Confirmation Retreat. This is a time set apart to slow down, quiet the noise, and open their hearts to the Holy Spirit in a real and personal way. 

Students will have the opportunity to experience Mass, the Sacrament of Confession, and time in Adoration, creating space to encounter Christ and surrender the things they're carrying to Him. This retreat isn't just a requirement to check off; it's a chance for students to truly prepare their hearts for what God wants to do in them through Confirmation. This is a required event for all Confirmation candidates.

Junior High Youth Rally

The Archdiocesan Junior High Youth Rally is an epic, high-energy day just for students in grades 6–8 to come together with other teens from across the archdiocese. It’s a chance to hang out, have fun, make new friends, and grow in your faith – all in one place.

Throughout the day, kids will jump into interactive games, hands-on service projects, powerful prayer experiences, and engaging talks that connect faith to real life. Every year features a new theme focused on the things junior high students actually face – so it’s relevant, real, and meaningful.

Give your child the opportunity to grow in faith, build meaningful friendships, and experience how God is actively at work in their life.

Life Teen Retreat

Life Teen’s Spring Retreat invites you to step away from the busyness of everyday life and spend time growing in your faith and friendship. This fun and dynamic weekend will explore the true meaning of hope, reminding you that God alone satisfies our deepest longings.

Join us for a weekend filled with engaging liturgies, inspiring music, challenging talks, and overwhelming hope.

Steubenville Youth Conference

Each summer, Life Teen partners with the Steubenville Youth Conferences at Franciscan University of Steubenville to provide teens with a powerful opportunity to encounter Christ, grow in their faith, and experience authentic Catholic community alongside thousands of other teens from across the country.

Steubenville conferences are known for their dynamic speakers, engaging liturgies, incredible worship music, and meaningful opportunities for prayer, Adoration, and the Sacraments. Whether a teen is new to youth ministry or deeply involved already, the weekend offers something for everyone — serving as both an introduction to the Gospel message and a chance for deeper spiritual renewal.

Throughout the weekend, teens will experience inspiring talks, powerful worship, joyful fellowship, and moments of prayer that often leave a lasting impact long after the conference ends. More than just an event, Steubenville is an opportunity for teens to be encouraged in their faith, strengthened in community, and inspired to bring the love of Christ back to their families, schools, youth group, and parish community.

Edge Middle School Socials

Edge Middle School Summer Socials are a fun way for middle school teens to stay connected throughout the summer! 

Join us on Tuesday in July for games, snacks, faith-filled activities, and time to hang out with friends in a fun and welcoming environment.

All incoming and current Edge middle school students are welcome!

Incoming HS Senior Retreat

Join St. Anthony’s Youth Ministry for a special weekend retreat created just for our incoming high school seniors of the 2027-2028 school year. 

Held at a peaceful lake house on Lake Conroe, this retreat is designed to give teens a chance to slow down, reconnect with God, and spend meaningful time with friends before beginning their final year of high school.

Unlike some of our larger retreats and conferences, Senior Retreat Weekend is intentionally more relaxed - a true breath of fresh air before the busyness and emotions of senior year begin. Throughout the weekend, teens will enjoy time on the lake, swimming, games, great food, laughter, and authentic community, all woven together with opportunities for prayer, Adoration, reflection, and encounter with Christ.

Our hope is that each senior leaves the weekend feeling renewed, encouraged, and grounded in their faith as they prepare to step into an important and memorable season of life.

Life Teen Summer Bible Study

Join us for a special summer Bible Study designed just for Life Teen! Throughout the month of July, teens will gather to open up God's Word together, ask real questions, and grow in faith alongside their peers. Whether you're new to studying Scripture or looking to go deeper, this is a low-pressure, high-connection space to encounter Christ through His Word. Bring a Bible (or borrow one of ours!), a friend, and an open heart. All Life Teen students are welcome — we can't wait to dig in with you this summer!
