Please join us in promoting the Advent Donation Drive to help bring a joyous Christmas to children, teens and adults in our area. We will need volunteers to accept gifts in the St. Teresa Center's parking lot during the Advent Donation Drive weekend.

All volunteers must be 15 years or older.  All volunteers 18 and older must meet the Diocese's Safe Environment criteria.

December 5th and 6th  after each mass we will be handing out the various Gift Labels for whatever ministry/group a family would want to give to. Gift Tags will be in Sheltz hall where parishioners can choose the cards from gift boxes.

December 13th is our actual Advent Drive (6:30 am-7:30 pm). There are a variety of jobs and time slots to choose from. We will be at the STC parking lot and the hall. We will have a truck from Catholic Charities that toys, etc. will go in. Outside we will have tables for the items collected from the cars, then they will go Inside the STC room 120 where there will be tables for the ministries collecting those items.

Many children and youth in our community are living in foster care, kinship homes, or on the streets, placing them at high risk for homelessness, incarceration, poverty, early pregnancy, and other long-term challenges. Angel Reach works to break this cycle through programs that support and empower these at-risk young people as they transition toward stable, hopeful, and opportunity-filled lives.

Current volunteer opportunities include tutoring young adults, assisting with life skills workshops, providing transportation support, and helping with community outreach events.

All onsite volunteer shifts play a vital role in sorting and packaging food for distribution. These projects are completed in three key areas within the Food Bank's warehouse:

• General Sorting: Organizing shelf-stable items.

• Produce Rescue Center: Sorting refrigerated fruits and vegetables.

• Mixed Refrigerated Sorting: Sorting and organizing frozen and refrigerated goods.

Many Volunteers are needed for the daily operations of the St. Anthony’s Bread Food Pantry: Unload truck deliveries from different vendors, sort food donations received, stock shelves, pre-pack bags of food, deliver bags/boxes of food to those in need by loading cars on food delivery days.

It takes hundreds of volunteers each week to prepare and pack thousands of meals. 

Volunteer shifts at Kids’ Meals are Monday-Friday 9am-12pm and 1:00pm-3:30pm. 

Kids ages 8 and above are welcome to volunteer! All children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

At Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP), we believe a bed is a basic need that supports a child’s physical, emotional, and mental well-being. When we discovered the need for beds extended far beyond our neighborhoods, we stepped up as a national organization addressing a nationwide problem. SHP thrives because of passionate volunteers dedicated to getting kids off the floor and into safe, comfortable beds. In just a few hours, volunteers can make a lasting impact on the lives of many children in their community. We welcome volunteers to help build bunk beds, deliver beds, advocate for our mission, and even start new chapters in unserved areas.
